The two poker rooms in Jacksonville have released their promotions for May.
<strong>St. Johns Greyhound Park</strong>
• Pot-Limit Omaha/8 tournament, May 2 (Sunday) at 7 p.m. $65 buy-in.
• Bounty tournaments, May 9 and May 23, at 7 p.m. $150 buy-in with $25 bounty on each player.
• Triple shootout, May 16, 7 p.m. $65 buy-in, 48 players max.
• WSOP Satellite, May 17, 1 p. m. 150 buy-in, registration opens Friday before the event at 4. Super Satellites will be May 11-15 (Mon.-Fri.) at 4 p.m.
• Ladies Only, May 30, 7 p.m. $65 buy-in.
<strong>Orange Park Kennel Club</strong>
• Rock 105’s “The Greaseman” will be hosting his monthly tournament May 9 with meet-and-greet from 7-8 p.m. followed by a $65 buy-in tournament with a bounty on the Greaseman’s head. That bounty will be $105.
• WSOP Satellite, May 31, 1 p.m. $150 buy-in. registration opens Friday before the event at 4. Super Satellites will be May 25-29 (Mon.-Fri.) at 4 p.m. This is the last scheduled WSOP event for the Jacksonville rooms this year.
<strong>Orange Park Promotions</strong>
• Royal Happy Hour(s), 4-7 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, all royal payouts are doubled! Must use one hole card.
• Shuffle Up-N-Wheel: Every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 6-11 p.m. High hand each hour gets a shot to spin a wheel to win cash for themselves and their table. Games eligible are 7-card stud and hold’em.
<strong>Special Promotions at both rooms</strong>
• $250 Royal Flushes: All day (unless another promotion is running); must use one hole card.
• $500 Spade Royal Flushes: All day (unless another promotion is running); must use one hole card.
• Super High Hand from noon-3, M,W,Th. High hand every half hour wins $100 at Orange Park, but it’s every hour at St. Johns. Also, players at the table when high hand was hit win $50 each at OP and $25 each at St. Johns.
