“Grinder” Mizrachi wins SCOOP Event No. 16 on Stars

Hollywood’s Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi defeated 344 players in Event No. 16 of the Spring Championship of Online Poker. He pocketed $19,608 from the $320 7-card stud event on PokerStars. The prize pool was $103,200, just clearing the $100,000 guarantee. Mizrachi, who has two World Poker Tour titles, has yet to win a World Series of Poker bracelet, but this victory surely will give him confidence heading into the WSOP.
