Report: Minneola officials consider poker room, parimutuels

According to a report in the <a href="http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/local/lake/orl-lake-county-gamble-020409,0,478432.story">Orlando Sentinel</a>, city officials in Minneola are exploring the avenue of opening up a card room, gambling parlor and/or parimutuel facility. The mayor is looking to "create economic development." Minneola is west of Orlando between Interstate-4 and I-75.
