The poker room at the Isle at Pompano Park has announced the dates for its 2009 Isle Poker Classic, a no-limit hold’em tournament. Here is the schedule:
<strong>Jan. 1, 1 p.m.: </strong>Preliminary event, $550 buy-in 8,000 units
<strong>Jan. 2–5:</strong> Championship event, $900 buy-in, 20,000 units
(Jan. 2, 1:30, Day 1A; Jan. 3, 1:30, Day 1B; Jan. 4, noon, survivors return; Jan. 5, if necessary)

Satellites for this event begin Nov. 30 (Sunday) at 7 p.m. It’s a $60 buy-in w/$40 rebuys. These satellites will continue on Sundays and Tuesdays through December at 7 p.m., plus Thursdays (Dec. 4, 11 and 18) at 1 p.m.
