The 10th event at this year’s Borgata Open in Atlantic City belonged to Tampa’s Manelic Minaya. He won the largest first-place prize this year as he outlasted 306 players in the $2,500 no-limit hold’em tournament and won $222,575. At the final table Minaya accumulated a huge stack and crushed the competition. You may remember reading in Ante Up, Florida’s Poker Magazine, about Minaya’s fine performance at this year’s World Series of Poker. He cashed six times, including a 10th-place finish in a $2K NLHE event.
