Gulfstream Park’s poker room has some new promotions for August, including First Four of a Kind. Be the first player with quads from 1 p.m. till 7 p.m. and win $100. Then the giveaway starts all over again from 7 p.m. till 1 a.m., awarding $100 to the first to get four of a kind after 7 p.m. Also, from 1 p.m. till 2 p.m. the room will award $500 for the highest overall hand. From then they will award $150 to the high hand between 2-4 p.m., 4-6, 6-8 and 8-10. Plus $500 goes to the highest hand from 10 till midnight. And don’t forget, any time you make four kings you win $100 as well. In all instances both hold cards must play.
