The native Canadian won the largest European Poker Tour cash prize in history after taking down $3.1 million at the Grand Final in Monte Carlo in April. Now, coming off a cash in the World Series (69th place, Event 46, 6-handed NLHE, $8,323), Chorny, aka DrC, just finished 14th in the WPT’s Bellagio Cup, earning $64,640.

Speaking of the WPT, the tour just inked a deal with FSN to air all 26 episodes of Season VII. Will GSN lose High Stakes Poker, too?
