David "Chino" Rheem, one of the so-called "November Nine" who have made it to the final table of the World Series of Poker’s Main Event, has Florida roots.
The 28-year-old Rheem lists Los Angeles as his hometown now, but as Nick Sortal of the Sun-Sentinel reports in a story today, Rheem learned to play in South Florida poker rooms soon after he turned 18.
Rheem will begin final table play with 10,230,000 in chips, seventh out of the nine remaining players.
