Bryan Morton of Brigantine, N.J., has moved into fifth place in the race for Ante Up’s 2012 Player of the Year.
Morton won the $440-buy-in WPT Summer Slam main event at Seminole Coconut Creek in Coconut Creek, Fla., which began June 7. Morton earned $55,000 for winning the 947-player event.
Morton earned 1,121.29 Ante Up POY points, good for fifth place. Abraham Araya of Carrollton, Texas, remains in first place with 1,314 points.
