Seven women have been nominated for induction into Women in Poker Hall of Fame’s 2014 class.

"We have an amazing group of qualified women for this year’s ballot and the voting process is critical to the success of the Women in Poker Hall of Fame," said Women in Poker Hall of Fame board chairwoman Lupe Soto.

The Women in Poker Hall of Fame was founded in 2008 by the Ladies International Poker Series and has 15 inductees. The seven nominees this year were selected by the organization’s board, and a panel of hall members, the board of directors and media members, including Ante Up publisher Scott Long, will vote on which nominees are enshrined on June 25 at the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nev.

The 2014 nominees are: Donna Blevins, a professional poker player, speaker, author and coach; Debbie Burkhead, national sales director for Poker Player Newspaper; Deborah Giardina, director of poker operations for bestbet Jacksonville and bestbet Orange Park in Florida; and professional poker players Ruth Hall, Esther Rossi, Allyn Jaffrey Shulman and Jennifer Tilly.
