Matt Carter of Petaluma, Calif., has won Event #4 of the Ante Up Poker Tour North Bay Poker Open at The 101 Casino in Petaluma, Calif.
Carter bested 37 other players for the title and $2,970 in the $240 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em Deepstack event. All four events in the series have exceeded the guaranteed prize pools.
Day 1A of the $400 buy-in Main Event begin at 6 p.m. today, with Day 1B at 10 a.m. Saturday and Day 1C at 6 p.m. Saturday. Remaining players reconvene at 2 p.m. on Sunday to play for the title, which includes his or her photo on the cover of the May issue of Ante Up Magazine, a seat in the Ante Up World Championship Main Event and a personalized Tour champion’s jacket. The Main Event has a $40,000 guaranteed prize pool.
