Sundays and Mondays in March just got busier at Buffalo Thunder. The poker room is adding $25 buy-in no-limit hold’em tournaments and adding $50 per table into the prize pools. There will be unlimited rebuys and one add-on each Sunday, and one re-entry on Mondays.
You can bet there’s plenty of anticipation for the 60-player, $104 bounty tournament March 8 at Buffalo Thunder and hosted by 104.1-FM “The Edge.” Besides all the green, there’s a lot of excitement surrounding the four bounties. Two are yet to be determined, but one of the bounties will be DJ Buck from the Buck and Dex Show, and the other bounty is Mark Schrecengost, Buffalo Thunder’s general manager.
Other special events in March include Tuesday $40 buy-ins with one rebuy and Friday and Saturday $75 buy-ins with no rebuys. Of course, Buffalo Thunder is known for its active Omaha/8 tournaments and on March 9 is a $100-per-table-added, $100 entry with one re-entry.
The Last Saturday of the Month deepstack tournament is March 29 and features a $150 buy-in and, as always, players can earn 1K bonus chips for two hours live play before the start.
SANDIA RESORT AND CASINO: Would you say the timing is perfect for the March 16, $350 Luck of the Irish deepstack tournament at the Sandia poker room? More details are coming, but you can rest assured that someone will be counting their pot ‘o gold on St. Paddy’s Day.
Every Wednesday and Saturday in March features $10-$20 Omaha/8 games. On Fridays, it’s $20-$40 limit hold’em, and there are bounty tournaments on Thursdays. Don’t forget the $40 tournaments on Tuesdays and Sundays (except for the Luck of the Irish on March 16.
