The World Poker Tour Boot Camp is looking to make a stop in the Chicagoland area in the fall, though final details are being coordinated with Windy City Poker Championship’s Kirk Fallah. The camp uses high-profile professionals to teach students, and this year it’s looking to focus on cash games and tournaments. The last time it was in town T.J. Cloutier, Rick Fuller and Crispin Leyser were among the instructors. Details will be available soon at wptbootcamp.com.

WCPC: Windy City shows will start airing the first week of April on Comcast SportsNet Chicago, Bright House Sports Network and Cox CST Cable. Final schedule and broadcast details will be in next month’s issue of Ante Up.

HAMMOND EXPANDS TOURNAMENTS: Horseshoe Hammond has added Monday and Thursday $200 no-limit hold’em tournaments, starting at 7 p.m. This is the first time the Horseshoe is offering evening tournaments on a weekly basis.

HARRAH’S JOLIET: Joe Chang is the second player to win a seat to the World Series of Poker Main Event by playing in the Harrah’s Joliet poker league.

BPL: The Horseshoe and Harrah’s Joliet are the first two on Bravo Poker Live in the Chicagoland area. BPL, available on iPhone and the Internet, gives a real-time view of poker-room tables running. Players who play the less-popular games will find BPL a handy resource.

“BPL keeps me informed on everything going on,” said Rosemary Bulat, who plays at the Horseshoe. “Just the other day I was surprised to see Harrah’s now offers sit-n-go tournaments.”
