Timothy Trahan was the winner of the Ante Up World Championship Event #2 ($175 No-Limit Hold’em/Pot-Limit Omaha).
Trahan, who won his way to the event via a satellite at Cypress Bayou Casino Hotel in Louisiana, bested Jose Antonio Tortosa of Madrid, Spain, for the title. Trahan of Youngsville, La., won $1,274.
The event at the Hard Rock Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic drew 13 players.
