Pat Lyons has won Event #2 ($1,000 Ante Up NorCal Classic) of the Ante Up World Championship at Thunder Valley Casino Resort in Lincoln, Calif.
Lyons got the largest portion of the prize pool when the final five players agreed to a deal in the event that attracted 392 entries – a Thunder Valley record for a one-day event – and generated a prize pool of $352,800, more than 3.5 times the $100,000 prize pool guarantee.
Lyons entered Day 2 of the event 12th in chips out of 49 returning players.
