Through 10 events at the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino’s 12th annual Gulf Coast Poker Championship, Florida’s Matt Silva has two titles in Biloxi, Miss.
The Lakewood Ranch, Fla., resident won the heads-up crown (Event 4) earlier in the week, then won Event 9 ($300 NLHE) for $5,859. Silva beat 110 players, which generated a $26,307 prize pool.
Event 8, a $50K guarantee for $360, went to Antony Vidner from Nashville, Ala., who beat 384 entrants to bring home $19,034 of the $111,650 prize pool.
Event 10 ($300 Omaha/8) drew 64 entrants, including the Mississippi-native winner, Brent Siebenkittel, who pocketed $2,463 of the $15,168 prize pool.
