Hyndi Khomutetsky and Donald Brown bagged the most chips in their respective flights Friday in the Main Event of the Ante Up Poker Tour at Tampa Bay Downs in Tampa, Fla.
Khomutetsky amassed 284,000 chips in Day 1B, and Brown collected 288,000 in Day 1C. The 29 players who advanced in the two flights will join 18 who advanced on Thursday and those who will advance in the final two flights at 1 and 6 p.m. today for the Day 2 restart on Sunday.
The field in the $250 buy-in event is 262 strong, just shy of the $60,000 guarantee before today’s two flights.
