The L’Auberge Casinos in Baton Rouge and Lake Charles, La., are each awarding four Ante Up Poker Cruise packages in upcoming promotions.
At 11 a.m. on each Saturday in July, 30 participants will be invited to play in a tournament. The winner of each gets a $500 and a balcony Ante Up Poker Cruise package for two for the Sept. 17 sailing out of Galveston, Texas, while players finishing second through fifth will win between $200-$1,000.
The seven-night sailing aboard the Liberty of the Seas will make port stops in Roatan, Honduras; Puerto Costa Maya, Mexico; Cozumel, Mexico.
There are three ways to qualify for each tournament:
- The winner of each of the three daily poker tournaments on Sunday, Monday and Wednesday at Baton Rouge and Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday at Lake Charles prior to each Saturday’s event are invited to play in three qualifiers.
- Two invitations will be awarded through a random social media drawing through the L’Auberge Casino Hotel Baton Rouge and L’Auberge Casino Resort Lake Charles Facebook pages.
- The top 25 players with the most time accrued in live poker play each week will earn an invitation. This play will be based on total hours of live poker play accrued before the Saturday’s event. Time will be tracked between 5 a.m. Thursday morning through 4:59 a.m. the next Thursday morning each week prior to the scheduled Saturday event. (Participants in Baton Rouge will get double time credit for time played from 2 a.m. to 10 a.m.)
