Dover Downs’ Masters Poker Series to award Ante Up Cruises

Dover Downs Hotel & Casino has announced that its Masters Poker Series event Oct. 28-Nov. 1 will be an Ante Up Set Sail Series.

For each event players enter in the seven-event series at the Dover, Del., casino, they’ll be given a drawing ticket. On Nov. 1, tickets will be drawn until five winners claim an Ante Up Poker Cruise package for two on the April 18 sailing out of Port Canaveral, Fla.

The Masters Poker Series features seven no-limit hold’em events with two $550 main events – one open to all players and one open to player 45 or older. Among the events is a $125 "Meet the Masters" event featuring several of MPS’ pro players. A total of $150,000 in prize money is guaranteed over the course of the series, and all cashers in all events will earn Ante Up Poker Tour Player of the Year points.

Here is the schedule:

  • Oct. 28, 11:15 a.m. – $70 Mega Satellite for either main event
  • Oct. 28, 3:15 p.m. – $70 Mega Satellite for either main event
  • Oct. 28: 7:15 p.m. – $125 No-Limit Hold’em "Meet the Masters" ($5,000 guaranteed)
  • Oct. 29, 11:15 a.m. – $240 No-Limit Hold’em Deepstack ($15,000 guaranteed)
    MPS Deep Stack
  • Oct. 29 – 7:15 p.m. – $290 No-Limit Hold’em (50 players max, $10,000 guaranteed)
  • Oct. 30, 11:15 a.m. – $550 Open Main Event ($50,000 guaranteed)
  • Oct. 30, 7:15 p.m. – $70 Mega Satellite for Senior Main Event
  • Oct. 31, 11:15 a.m. – $240 No-Limit Hold’em Deepstack Turbo ($15,000 guaranteed)
  • Oct. 31, 1 p.m. – Day 2 of Open Main Event
  • Oct. 31, 4 p.m. – $550 Seniors Main Event (45 or older, $50,000 guaranteed)
  • Nov. 1, 11:15 a.m. – $100 No-Limit Hold’em Last One Standing ($5,000 guaranteed)
  • Nov. 1, 1:15 p.m. – Day 2 of Senior Main Event

Ante Up Poker Cruises transforms the conference centers aboard regularly scheduled Royal Caribbean and NCL sailings into a professionally staffed and equipped poker room, complete with cash games, tournaments, free poker classes and an open-bar cocktail party.
