Dover Downs to host Ante Up Set Sail Series

Dover Downs Hotel & Casino’s Delaware Poker Championship on Labor Day weekend has been designated an Ante Up Set Sail Series.

Dover Downs in Dover, Del., will host the Delaware Poker Championship Sept. 3-7, consisting of five events with buy-ins ranging from $35 to the $560 buy-in Main Event that features a $100,000 guaranteed prize pool. At the first break of each of the five tournaments, an Ante Up Poker Cruise package for two for the Nov. 7 sailing out of Tampa, Fla., will be raffled off. All players active in the tournament or a cash game will receive one raffle ticket.

Also, the winner of the Main Event will appear on the cover of the October issue of Ante Up Magazine.

Here is the tournament schedule:

  • Thursday, Sept. 3, 7:15 p.m.: $125 Pot-Limit Omaha ($5,000 guaranteed)
  • Friday, Sept. 4, 1:15 p.m.: $150 No-Limit Hold’em ($20,000 guaranteed)
  • Saturday, Sept. 5, 11:15 a.m.: $560 No-Limit Hold’em Main Event ($100,000 guaranteed)
  • Sunday, Sept. 6, 11:15 a.m.: $125 No-Limit Hold’em ($15,000 guaranteed)
  • Monday, Sept. 7, 11:15 a.m.: $35 No-Limit Hold’em ($5,000 guaranteed)

Discounted room rates of $29 on Thursday (with four hours of live play or tournament registration) and on Monday (with four hours of live play) are available for players who use code C15TG when making reservations, and discounted rates of $59 are available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday for players registered for the tournament and who use code CSTW when making reservations.
