The Inn of the Mountain Gods poker room is offering a Road to the World Series of Poker Main Event season, starting with the two sessions on Feb. 21 and the final is Feb. 22. There is a cap of 200 players so be sure to sign up early. Buy-in is $330. (See ad in February issue.)
SANTA ANA STAR CASINO: If you’ve picked up this issue in time, then you might be able to enter the Jan. 31 Ladies Only $50 tournament. If not, you can enter the $440 bounty event Feb. 7; each bounty is $100. Sign up by Feb. 6 for 500 extra chips. The Valentine’s Day bounty tournament costs $115 as $75 goes to the prize pool and bounties are $25.
BUFFALO THUNDER RESORT AND CASINO: Player-reward drawings are Thursday evenings at 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10. Players will earn one entry into the drawing with every hour of live play.
SANDIA RESORT AND CASINO: Changes this month include the regular Sunday and Tuesday tournaments. Sunday noon tournaments will cost $45 for 4,500 in chips with unlimited rebuys during the first three levels. Tuesday 7 p.m. tournaments cost $55 for 5,500 chips, also with unlimited rebuys during the first three levels.
