Indigo Sky Casino will wrap up its Ante Up Poker League at the end of this month. Beginning Oct. 1, players could earn points for cash play and for entering or re-entering selected tournaments and making the final table. When the three-month period concludes, the top-nine point-earners plus one league-eligible player chosen at random will be invited to compete in a final freeroll.

The freeroll winner earns an Ante Up Poker Cruise package for two for the Feb. 9 sailing out of Port Canaveral, Fla., plus $1,500 and a personalized league champion’s jacket from Ante Up. The rest of the players will earn cash. There’s still time to enter the league so don’t delay.

Indigo Sky has $1-$2 pot-limit Omaha on Mondays beginning at noon. Numerous promotions are running, including free breakfast on Monday and Tuesday and $300 high hands with no minimum qualifier every 30 minutes Saturday evenings.

HOLLYWOOD CASINO: The third season of the Hollywood Poker Open has kicked off and it will combine a series of tournaments at casinos around the country with regional seat qualifier promotions to send players to Las Vegas in June to compete in the Hollywood Poker Open championship at the M Resort. Hollywood at Kansas Speedway is qualifying players until April 30. The 20 players for each month (100 total) in terms of seat time will qualify into one of two May freerolls. The top four from each freeroll will win $2,500 entries to the championship event in Las Vegas plus $1,500.

December also brings the addition of a new regular tournament. On Wednesdays at noon a $65 event, identical to the one on Monday evenings, will run. For those on bad-beat jackpot alert, Hollywood’s was more than $102K at press time.
