This last month of regular-season football is going to be hot at Aqua Caliente’s poker room.
On Thursdays before 5:30 p.m., play in a live game and you’ll have a chance to win a share of $3,200 or more by picking the combined scores of both teams for each quarter of the NFL contest.
On Sunday afternoons is football high-hand frenzy. Players with the best hand when either team scores win a cash prize equivalent to the total score of both teams multiplied by 10, eight or five (depending on the quarter).
Monday Night Football Rack Attacks means when either team scores a field goal, three tables receive $100 in chips. When either team scores a touchdown, five tables receive $100 in chips.
There’s also a Tailgate Party during the games so players can play poker, enjoy a free buffet and watch football.
HAWAIIAN GARDENS CASINO: The Gardens Classic series runs Dec. 12-21. The $250K guarantee main event is Dec. 14. There will be two qualifying sessions per day through Dec. 17. Buy-in is $150 and it’s a re-entry event. Players who qualify for Day 2 more than once will receive $1K. Top 10 percent cash while the top five percent advance to the finals on Dec. 18. Single-table satellites start Dec. 12.
There will be 10 more events, including $125 deepstack with a $30K guarantee to kick off the series Dec. 12. A second $125 deepstack $30K guarantee will be Dec. 19. Both are one-day events.
On Dec. 13, Toys for Tots will be the big winners of a charity event. This $10K guarantee has a $70 buy-in and bringing an unopened toy worth $10 or more will get you $10 off your buy-in.
The Ladies International Poker Series will be on hand for the $70 Ladies Poker Jingle $5K guarantee Dec. 20.
The final events will be Dec. 21. The Senior Poker Tour (50 and older) is $100, begins at 10 a.m. and sports a $5K guarantee. Later in the day, is a $165 bounty event with a $20K guarantee. All undercard events have one $50 optional add-on. Go to thegardenscasino.com for more details.
