Andrew Barber of Sacramento, Calif., was outchipped 6,000 to 164,000 heads-up but rallied back to win Event #12 of the Ante Up World Championship – $360 Ante Up World Open Face Chinese Poker Championship – at Thunder Valley Casino Resort in Lincoln, Calif.
Barber earned $2,142 for the victory in the 17-player field, the first Open Face Chinese tournament held at Thunder Valley. John Maley of Fountain Valley, Calif., finished second for $1,499.
