Thomas Samuel of Sacramento, Calif., was the chipleader when a deal was reached to end Event #8 of the Ante Up World Championship – $180 Ante Up World Limit Omaha/8 Championship – at Thunder Valley Casino Resort in Lincoln, Calif.

Samuel earned $3,112 and Brian Ingram of Sacramento earned $3,111 in the 83-player field.
