Andy Pham of Elk Grove, Calif., was the chipleader when an 11-way deal was reached to end Event #1 of the Ante Up World Championship at Thunder Valley Casino Resort in Lincoln, Calif.
In Level 22, the final 11 players agreed to a deal giving Pham and Dennis Carlson of Folsom, Calif., each $3,500, and the remaining nine players $2,553 each. The $125 no-limit hold’em event drew 400 players.
