Blair wins WSOPC main in Colorado

The World Series of Poker Circuit at the Lodge Casino in Black Hawk, Colo., ran April 24-May 5, with the main event, which began May 2, going to Eric Blair for $116K and his first circuit ring.

Big names such as Dennis Phillips, Bernard Lee and Alexandru Masek, the all-time leader in circuit wins, were notables in the series.

Other winners at the Lodge included: Chad Donnelly, Englewood, Colo., $19,773; Valentin Vornicu, San Diego, $20,299; Greg Eyster, Denver, $46,205; Tim Campbell, Peyton, Colo., $15,900; Thupten Thondup, Santa Fe, N.M., $13,364; Osama Aweida, Bloomfield, Colo., $12,265; Craig Varnell, Ft. Collins, Colo., $14,739; Ryan Pringle, Gunnison, Colo., $15,502; and Lee, who hails from Wayland, Mass. ($14,500).

Congratulations to the event winners and good luck to those Colorado players looking to make the journey to Las Vegas for this year’s WSOP.
