The Inn of the Mountain Gods scheduled the Road to the Main Event for May 17-18 (qualifiers begin at 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on May 17). The finals start at 11 a.m. on May 18. There’s a $330 buy-in, which includes a $99 room rate and a buffet ticket for two. Early registration runs until May 9.

BUFFALO THUNDER: There’s a ton of action at Buffalo Thunder Resort and Casino this month, including tournaments on Sundays ($25 buy-in, unlimited rebuys first hour, $50 added per table); Mondays ($25 buy-in, one rebuy, $50 added per table); Tuesdays ($40 buy-in, one rebuy); as well as Fridays and Saturdays ($75 buy-in, no rebuys).
An Omaha/8 tournament is May 18 with $100 buy-in and $100 added per table. On Memorial Day (May 26), there will be a $40 rebuy event with unlimited rebuys the first hour, an optional $40 add-on at the end of the first hour and $100 added per table.
Finally, the $150 Last Saturday of the Month deepstack tournament will be May 31.
SANDIA RESORT AND CASINO: Look for a noon, $165 deepstack tournament each Sunday in May and June: May 4 (NLHE); May 11 (Omaha/8); May 18 (NLHE); May 25 (Omaha limit) and June 1 (NLHE).
ISLETA CASINO: If players need live-play encouragement, Isleta provides it with a $2K freeroll on May 31. Players qualify with 25 hours at the tables during the month and players who accumulate 25 hours live play by the 27th earn 10 bonus entries. Player Rewards drawings of $500 each on the 28th will bankroll four winners!
