John Sheehan of Novata, Calif., has won Event #1 of the North Bay Poker Open Ante Up Poker Tour series at The 101 Casino in Petaluma, Calif.
Sheehan won $1,550 in the $100 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em Warmup event, which drew 55 entries to easily surpass the $2,000 prize pool guarantee.
The series continues at 6 p.m. tonight with Event #2, a $120 buy-in Pot-Limit Omaha event with add-ons and a $2,000 prize pool guarantee.
