Pensacola Greyhound Track & Poker Room in Florida’s Panhandle will host a regional Ante Up Poker Tour series in November.

“We liked the Ante Up Poker Tour because being associated with Ante up allows us to reach thousands of poker players for our event,” Pensacola Greyhound Track poker room manager Les Davidson said. “We are hoping to attract some new players to our poker room and give our regular players a big tournament experience.”

The 20-table poker room offers daily tournaments and promotions, including Full House or Better and a Mini Bad Beat, and the gambling age is 18. The track has a restaurant and features live greyhound racing on weekends and simulcast wagering daily. Creek Entertainment Gretna, the track’s sister property just west of Tallahassee, is expected to run satellites for the event.

“When players come to Pensacola, they can expect a knowledgeable staff as well as friendly faces. The players in Pensacola are some of the nicest players on the planet,” Davidson said. “Players will find a number of different games to choose from including Texas Hold’em, limit and no-limit, Omaha and Big O. The players will also enjoy our great daily promotions. When they want a break from poker, they can enjoy our white-sand beaches, dine in some great restaurants, check out the Naval Air Museum or play a round on one of our beautiful golf courses.”
