Danny Wade, a dual-rate supervisor at Coushatta Casino Resort in Kinder, La., is passionate about his job. Wade has gone above and beyond in improving the poker room’s weekly tournaments and the upcoming7 Clans Poker Cup series (March 11-14) by making them more player-friendly.

The 7 Clans will have two satellites, a preliminary $300 buy-in event and a $1K main event that could pay $50K to first place. Being a poker player, Wade understands the effort it takes to battle his way deep into tournaments.

He gathered as many player requests as he could and took them all into consideration in trying to be best tournament in the state.
He said his efforts have been paying off, thanks to the staff led by manager Randall Litteral and Tom Helo.

BELLE OF BATON ROUGE: Mid-States Poker Tour made its Louisiana debut Feb. 15-23 (after press time) at the Belle of Baton Rouge Casino. There were multiple satellites to the main event and PokerNews was on hand for live reporting. Results will be published soon.
