Heartland Poker Tour stops at Agua Caliente Casino Resort Spa near Palm Springs for a 10-day series, beginning Feb. 27 and culminating March 10 with the televised final table.
There will be eight events, including a $150 turbo, several $150 events and a $225 tourney in addition to the $1,650 main event. For the dates and times of these events check out hptpoker.com.
The series kicked off with Event 1, a $250 deepstack $60K guarantee on Feb 27.
The main event begins March 7 at 1 p.m. with Day 1A, followed by Day 1B on March 8 at 9 a.m. Day 1C will be at 3 p.m. later that day. The levels for all flights will be 40 minutes.
Day 2 will be March 9 at 2 p.m. The levels for Day 2 will be 60 minutes. Play will end when the field dwindles to nine players, who will return March 10 at 2 p.m. for the televised final table.
Every day there will be single-table satellites and multitable qualifiers with buy-ins ranging from $80 to $350 at various times throughout each day.

The casino features a 20-table poker room, along with nearly 1,400 of the latest slots and many styles of table games.

SAN MANUEL CASINO: The poker room is having a $33K Hold’em Play In tournament on March 26 at noon. Players have to qualify for this tournament and there is no buy-in. It will be limited to the first 300 players to qualify starting on Feb. 27.
Players can earn entry while playing cash games during the qualifying period and receiving nine stamps on a tournament-qualifying card.
For each poker hand that’s 10s full or better (queens full or better in Omaha) one stamp will be given. The structure has not been released at this time.
First place pays $10K, followed by $5K, $2,500 and so on until 30th place at $200.

PALA CASINO: The popular End of the Month $15K Nooner will continue in March, usually scheduled for the last Sunday of each month.
