Six-way deal ends Ante Up World Championship Event #15

The final event of the Ante Up World Championship at the Hard Rock Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic was the friendliest of the series, with the final six players chopping the prize pool and Michael Matrone of Morganville, N.J., taking the title with the most chips.

The $125 No-Limit Hold’em event drew 34 players. First-prize before the deal was $1,360. It was the third cash of the series for Timothy Trahan of Youngsville, La., and the second cash each for Fred Harvey of Broussard, La., and Lawrence Lipper of Sarasota, Fla.
