On May 7, the $3-$6 limit hold’em game at Ho-Chunk Gaming Wisconsin Dells hit the bad-beat jackpot of $95,755.

Just eight players were seated when Robert Miller’s quad aces beat Robert Doering’s quad deuces. The former earned $38,302 for the feat, the latter $19,151 for taking the beat, and the other six players secured a $6,383 payday.

What’s more, the jackpot hit just two days removed from one of Ho-Chunk’s most prestigious events of the year, the $240 bounty tournament. The latest event attracted 138 entries for $27,600 pool, which was distributed to the top 12 players.

The tournaments featured two $400 celebrity bounties in local radio personality Johnny Danger and Wisconsin native and World Series of Poker bracelet-winner Eric Baldwin, who just finished runner-up in the 2013 WSOP Event 7 $1K NLHE for $189,220. Neither cashed in Wisconsin. Here’s a look at the final payouts, which included a four-handed chop: Tin Quach ($6,452); Steve Seidler ($4,619); Tim Klepps ($4,100); Steve Mitchell ($3,900); Eric Winkie ($2,208); Ronda Nelson ($1,738); Lee Borrall ($1,338); Chad Holloway ($1,048), and David Toothman ($828).

MENOMINEE: The Summer Classic is July 13 and cost $275. See the ad on Page 56 of our July issue for full details.
