Here’s a look at some featured poker events around the country.

East

Borgata Summer Open: The Atlantic City poker room hosts this series (June 4-21) comprised of 19 events ($230-$2,700). With many of the tough East Coast players in Las Vegas at the World Series, this is a good time to try to capitalize on softer fields.

West

* Venetian DSE: The Deep Stack Extravaganza III (until July 21) is back with 215 events ($200-$5K). There will be a lot of players and action, plus it’s a good alternative to the WSOP.
Mega Stack: Caesars Palace in Las Vegas hosts this series (until July 14), which features 103 events ($130-$1,080).

Binion’s Classic: The Las Vegas room is running this series (until July 7) with 47 events ($125-$1K).
WSOP: The 44th annual WSOP returns to the Rio in Las Vegas (until July 15) with 62 bracelet events and daily deepstack tournaments with buy-ins starting at $75.

Grand Series: The Golden Nugget in downtown Las Vegas hosts this series (June 1-July 4), which will accommodate smaller bankrolls. It features 80 events ($125-$1,080).
Wynn Summer Classic: This series (June 7-26) offers eight events ($440-$5,180). The Wynn always puts on well-run events.

Bay 101 Summer Madness: The Bay 101 Casino in San Jose, Calif., offers this smaller series of five events (June 11-15, $345-$550).

Aria Classic: This series (June 7-July 1) will have 27 events ($150-$1,080)
Hollywood Open: The M Resort in Las Vegas hosts this $2,500 championship (June 28-30), a culmination of regional events.
