Just three days after winning his record-tying sixth ring at the World Series of Poker Circuit Harrah’s Philadelphia, Chris Reslock captured a second ring at the stop to surpass 27-year-old Alex Masek as the all-time leader with seven gold rings.

As reported late last week, Reslock won Event #6 $580 No-Limit Hold’em for $18,200, which was his second win of the 2012/2013 season after having won his fifth ring in a $580 No-Limit Hold’em event at Caesars Atlantic City back in March. On Sunday, the 65-year-old Atlantic City pro and retired taxi owner/operator made WSOP Circuit history by topping a modest field of 98 players to take down Event #11 $365 No-Limit Hold’em for $8,820.

Reslock’s win also made him the heavy favorite in the stop’s race for the Casino Championship. He also received 50 points toward the National Leaderboard, which made him a near lock for one of the 60 at-large bids for the WSOP National Championship later this month.
