On Friday, May 31, City of Hope will host the All In For Hope Celebrity Poker Tournament at the Creative Artists Agency in Los Angeles, California. The event takes place in support of City of Hope Research and Medical Center, a National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center and a founding member of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network.
The poker tournament will have a buy-in of $500 with unlimited $250 rebuys for the first hour of play, and will be hosted by by 2013’s Spirit of Life Award honoree, Rob Light. The tournament’s grand prize includes a guaranteed seat at the 2013 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas, plus luxury accommodations, and the winner will pledge 25 percent of WSOP earnings to City of Hope.
Former WSOP Main Event winner Jamie Gold is a confirmed guest, as well as celebrities Tony Danza, Joe Mangariella, Camryn Manheim and Mimi Rogers.
TW Steel will donate watches to every player at the final table (except the tournament winner and second-place finisher), and an auction for prizes will include trips to Cabo, tickets with a meet-and-greet to Ray Romano’s Las Vegas show, tickets to the Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival in San Francisco, and more. Le Medaillon will be sponsoring the champagne tasting bar.
