The Ante Up Midwest Championship, an Ante Up Poker Tour event, has begun at Running Aces Harness Park near Minneapolis, Minnesota!
Events #1-2 were held on Thursday, with Paul Skjerseth of Fargo winning Event #1 ($100 rebuy) and Derek Knisley of Minneapolis winning Event #2 ($230 bounty) and picking up 11 bounties along the way.
Day 1A of Event #3 ($500 no-limit hold’em) starts at 6 p.m. today.
Top 10 cashers in all Ante Up Midwest Championship event earn Ante Up Player of the Year points, and the champion of the main event wins a personalized Ante Up tour champion jacket, a bracelet from Pro Poker Gear and will be featured on the cover of the June issue of Ante Up Magazine.
