The 2013 Battles at the Beach $3,300 Main Event wrapped up on Monday at the Isle Casino Pompano Park in Pompano Beach, Florida, with Stephen Bokor walking away with the $155,496 top prize. He defeated Jose Parra heads up and a final table that included Richard Kirsch, Tony Ruberto and Matt Waxman to claim the title.

The event attracted 163 entries across Days 1a and 1b. At the end of Day 1a, Harold Klein led the field with 253,000 in chips. Following the completion of Day 1b, Barry Hutter was on top with 207,100 in chips. Both players earned a prize of $10,000 for finishing their respective starting days as the chip leaders.
Heading into Day 2, 67 players remained. The top 18 spots were set to earn a minimum of $5,768, and notables such as Jamie Rosen, Waxman, Jared Jaffee, Maurice Hawkins, Chris Bolek, T.K. Miles, AJ Jejelowo, Mukul Pahuja and John Dolan advanced out of Day 1.
After the bubble burst on Day 2, play finished with 13 players remaining. Former World Poker Tour Jacksonville champion Ruberto led the way with 738,500 in chips, while notables Hawkins, Waxman and Danny Shiff were still left. Dolan (18th – $5,768) and Jaffee (14th – $6,521) finished in the money but failed to advance to Day 3.
On Day 3, Shiff fell in 13th place for $6,521, and Hawkins was eliminated in 11th place for $7,775. After Perry Gammon was bounced in 10th place for $7,775, the final table was set.
Notables Waxman and Ruberto fell in fifth place and fourth place, respectively. Waxman took home $31,350 while Ruberto pocketed $40,630. That left Kirsch, Parra and Bokor in three-handed play, with Bokor eventually taking home the title. Bokor earned $155,496 for the victory. That is his largest score to date and brings his career live tournament earnings to nearly $300,000.
