First of Two PokerNews MSPT Events at Ho-Chunk in Season 4 Set for March

Ho-Chunk Gaming Wisconsin Dells is located in Baraboo, Wisconsin, just minutes from Wisconsin Dells — one of the top tourist and water park towns in the nation — making it a big draw for players looking to mix a vacation in with a big poker tournament. Last season’s MSPT event at Ho-Chunk Gaming was the first time the MSPT had invaded Wisconsin, and it proved to be a huge success. The event drew 244 runners and generated a $243,600 prize pool, making it the largest tournament ever in the state of Wisconsin. Joe Illingworth of Iowa was the last person standing, taking home $65,742 in first-place prize money.

The dates of the event are March 16-24, 2013, and the $1,000+$100 Main Event will kick off on Friday, March 22. The PokerNews MSPT will be back at Ho-Chunk twice in Season 4, and it is anticipated that an even bigger field for this upcoming trip to the Dells in mid-March.
