Bestbet Jax hosts Summer Series, World Poker Tour Aug. 24

The weather outside is frightful, but the poker action inside of the new bestbet Jacksonville poker room is delightful. Bestbet is proud to bring back the bestbet Summer Series that will feature 17 events and a $300,000 guarantee World Poker Tour Regional Main Event.

The bestbet Summer Series runs Aug. 24-Sept. 10 as the main event is Sept. 7-10. Some of the featured tournaments on the schedule are as follows:

EVENT 1: NLHE, Day 1A is Aug. 24, Day 1B is Aug. 25 (both start at noon), $230, 40-minute rounds, 15K chips, $50K guarantee.
EVENT 3: Omaha/8, Aug. 27, noon, $230, 30-minute rounds, 10K chips.
EVENT 6: NLHE re-entry, Day 1A is Aug. 30, Day 1B is Aug. 31, Day 1C is Sept. 1 (all start at noon), $340, 40-minute rounds, 15K chips, $100K guarantee.
EVENT 7: All-In-or-Fold, Sept. 1, 3 p.m., $150, 30-minute rounds, 10K chips.
EVENT 8: NLHE, Sept. 2, 3 p.m., $560, 40-minute rounds, 15K chips.
EVENT 9: PLO/8, Sept. 3, noon, $340, 30-minute rounds, 10K chips.
EVENT 10: NLHE bounty ($100), Sept. 3, 3 p.m., $340, 30-minute rounds, 10K chips.
EVENT 11: NLHE 6-Max, Sept. 4, noon, $340, 30-minute rounds, 10K chips.
EVENT 13: NLHE, Sept. 5, noon, $560, 40-minute rounds, 15K chips.
EVENT 16: NLHE bounty ($100), Sept. 8, 3 p.m., $340, 30-minute rounds, 10K.

The $300K guarantee main event includes two Day 1s (Sept. 7-8). The $1,500 buy-in gets you 60-minute rounds and 20K chips. With the extra Day 1, you’ll be able to re-enter the tournament if you’re knocked out of Day 1A. Day 2 is Sept. 9 and the final table will be Sept. 10. All action begins at noon for this tournament.
