Jason Jochem of Hollywood, Fla., has moved into ninth place in the race for Ante Up’s 2012 Player of the Year.
Jochcem won the $440-buy-in Miami Gardens Poker Classic main event at Calder Casino in Miami Gardens, Fla., which began Feb. 10. Jochem earned $16,000 for the victory in the 222-player field.
He earned 542.90 Ante Up POY points, good for ninth place. Abraham Araya of Carrollton, Texas, remains in first place with 1,314 points.
