Danny Shiff moves into 8th place in Ante Up POY race

Danny Shiff of Aventura, Fla., has moved into eighth place in the race for Ante Up’s 2012 Player of the Year.

Shiff won the $2,500-buy-in Isle Poker Classic main event at Isle Casino Pompano in Pompano Park, Fla., which began Jan. 27. Shiff earned $115,604 for the victory in the 173-player field.

He earned 578.46 Ante Up POY points, good for eighth place. Abraham Araya of Carrollton, Texas, remains in first place with 1,314 points.
