Top pros playing in Virginia charity tournament

A number of top professional players are expected to participate in the A Cure Rolled Up Charity Poker Tournament April 7 in Richmond, Va.

The 7 p.m. event at the Holiday Inn on Staples Mill Road is a benefit for the Lupus Foundation of America. Confirmed to attend are Andy Bloch and former world champions Jerry Yang and Greg Raymer, with more pros expected to be announced.

Buy-in is a $65 donation ($55 if preregistered), and includes an autographed copy of Jerry Yang’s book, "All In." Unlimited rebuys are available for $40 through the first break, with $10 add-ons available before the first hand is dealt and at the first break. Players start with 6,000 units, with 2,000 more for the first add-on and 3,000 more for the second add-on. Levels last 20 minutes.

Players knocking out a pro earn a $50 bounty.
