Mike Gainey’s Chop Pot Classic at the Peppermill Hotel Casino in Reno, Nev., offered players a chance to compete in their favorite mixed games.
All 10 events, from Aug. 31-Sept. 5, featured split-pot games, including Omaha, stud and even crazy pineapple. The live games were packed with action, utilizing every table over the weekend, and even featured a rare $100-$200 no-limit hold’em game where one pot exceeded $200,000.
