The Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada will hold its inaugural no-limit hold’em tournament to raise funds to support its financial literacy programs offered for free to students throughout the Las Vegas Valley.
The first-place winner will receive a seat at the 2011 World Series of Poker valued at $10,000. Additional prizes will include vacation packages, show tickets and more.
A silent auction will also be held to help raise additional revenue to support Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada.
WHEN: Friday, May 21, noon–5 p.m.
WHERE: Mirage, Las Vegas
COST: $300 for 5,000 chips; $100 gets you an additional 5,000 chips. Register by April 29 and receive another 1,000 chips. Maximum of 300 participants.
