Michael "Grinder" Mizrachi hosts The Grinder Classic 2 at Calder Casino and Race Course, Feb. 11-13 in Miami Gardens, Fla.
The tournament has a pair of Day 1s: Feb. 11 and Feb. 12 at noon, before combining the fields on Feb. 13 (Sunday) at noon.
The original Grinder Classic, held last October, had a $25K guarantee and drew 284 players for a $57K prize pool. But players complained the structure led to many "shoves" toward the end of the event. Director of poker operations Chris Trabue assures his players this event will be different, especially since it’s a two-day event.
