Pensacola poker on track for January debut

Pensacola Greyhound Track general manager Nick Schlikin tells the <a href="http://www.pnj.com/article/20091125/NEWS01/911250332/1006/NEWS01/Poker-coming-soon-to-Pensacola-track">Pensacola News-Journal</a> that the track plans to have its poker room open "around the end of January." That’s about year from when it received local approval to deal cards. The track is taking applications for dealers, but hasn’t yet named a poker room manager.

Zvi Shiff wins Isle Casino AUPT event

Zvi Shiff of North Miami won the Nov. 23 Ante Up Poker Tour event and $6,914 at the Isle Casino. Luis Deguzman of West Palm Beach (5th, $2,246) added to his AUPT player of the year points total. The Ante Up Poker Tour <a href="http://www.anteupmagazine.com/tour">leaderboard</a> has been updated.

Anthony Ramos wins Ft. Pierce Jai-Alai AUPT event

Anthony Ramos of Port St. Lucie won the Nov. 21 Ante Up Poker Tour event and $1,468 at Ft. Pierce Jai-Alai. The event drew 123 players. Tony Mosley of Ft.
